The Arcade Comedy Theater is celebrating 10 years of funny! We want many more years of people discovering the joys of performing comedy or laughing at home-grown comedic genius in our walls!
Sales for Arcade classes and shows allow us to pay the people who teach, perform, tech, staff, and manage the work of the theater. However, the costs tied to Arcade’s facility and operations are not covered by these revenue streams. To cover these costs and maintain our physical home for all things comedy, we have a goal to raise $100,000 in 2024 through individual contributions. We’re launching that effort with the 10th Anniversary weekend–GIVE $10 FOR 10!
Arcade is a non-profit arts organization with significant building expenses that we struggle to cover each month. Building a base of regular giving helps us to better navigate the ups and downs of cash flow in a seasonal business. Please consider giving $10/$50/$100 a month to keep the lights on, the water running, and the rent paid.
We often say that “Arcade is Pittsburgh’s home for all things comedy.” I think of Arcade as Pittsburgh’s home for comedy-loving people. To keep a physical building that can be a place of growth and laughter and safety for our community, we need the community to contribute. $10 a month is a good place to start.
