Anabel's Grocery is a project of the Center for Transformative Action, a 501(c)3 organization. The store is a student-founded, student-run nonprofit grocery on Cornell's campus that provides fresh, nutritious, and affordable food to all students as well as educational resources on how to eat well on a limited budget. Anabel's addresses the key barriers students face in accessing fresh groceries -- cost, time, and transportation -- by being right on central campus and keeping prices low, often subsidizing basics at below cost.

Your purchase of an admission or raffle ticket to this event and/or donation go to support our mission to keep prices as low as possible in order to make fresh, nutritious food accessible to ALL students and create equitable avenues for us to eat in a way that supports our busy lives, physical and mental well-being, and reflects the foods we eat at home. The funds raised will allow Anabel's to continue selling essential fresh products at ALDI's prices.

This fundraiser was planned and prepared in collaboration with the students from the Nonprofit Social Enterprise & Food Justice and Catering and Special Events courses at the Nolan Hotel School.
