The McNay Art Museum's Fund A Bus Program
According to the Center for Arts Education, students who get a quality arts education have lower rates of behavioral problems, higher school attendance rates, and higher graduation rates. The McNay supports this by doing everything we can to get children exposed to the arts in the most fun way possible - FIELD TRIPS!
In 2016, over 16,000 students visited the McNay Art Museum. For many students, it was their first time to a museum. The McNay provides field trip experiences at zero cost to schools or families. Our Fund-A-Bus program partners with every school district in Bexar county (and beyond!), to lift the financial burden of transportation by covering the cost of school buses for students of all ages through senior year of high school.
Every child in San Antonio deserves a field trip and a chance to discover and enjoy the visual arts. We need YOUR help to get them here!
$10 brings 2 children to the McNay
$25 = 5 children
$50 = 10 children
$100 = 20 children
Will you help thousands of San Antonio students discover and enjoy the visual arts at the McNay this year?
