ABOUT THE EVENT:

Join us on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at The Shala Yoga Studio, located at 83 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217, for an afternoon of yoga! The Shala will lead us through a 60-minute steady, rhythmic, and grounding vinyasa flow. This all-levels class will offer a balanced blend of slightly slower-paced breath-focused flow and alignment with modifications offered. Mats and props will be provided. After the class, meet with the Access Justice Brooklyn Young Professionals Board and learn more about our mission to help ensure a more accessible legal system and equitable Brooklyn.

Registration for this event is free with a suggested donation of $25 or more. Space is limited. If you are unable to attend, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Access Justice Brooklyn. Your support will have an immediate and significant impact on Access Justice Brooklyn’s ability to rapidly respond to the growing legal needs of our community.

ABOUT THE YPB:

The Young Professionals Board (YPB) of Access Justice Brooklyn was established to support the organization's Board of Directors and its goal of making the legal system more accessible and equitable for low-income Brooklyn residents. The YPB unites rising talent professionals across the legal and non-legal sectors who are motivated to utilize their time, experience, and diverse skill sets in service of Access Justice Brooklyn’s mission. The YPB serves as an advisor to and agent of the full Board, driving an array of activities including community outreach and program expansion, event planning and fundraising, and providing strategic guidance to the organization.
