Lucky Orphans would like to introduce you to Denise!

Denise is a Miniature horse, born in 2006. She came to live at LOHR in 2013, along with her whole family! She still lives with her father, Coco, sister, Carmella, and mother, Ashley. 

Denise and her family came from Pawling, when their owners' children didn't want them anymore, and weren't spending the necessary time with them.

When the mini herd arrived, they kicked, reared and refused to be caught. Today, the herd is used in our equine assisted programs. Denise has a personality bigger than her stature and she won't let you forget it!
