For the 9th consecutive year, the Coyote Brotherhood is fired up and ready to rally behind the USD Football Program! Over the years the Brotherhood has raised over $500,000 for various Coyote Football needs. But this isn’t just about numbers; it’s about camaraderie, pride, and the incredible legacy we’ve built together. Our target this year? A bold and ambitious $165,000!
Every dollar raised goes towards enhancing the program and helping to improve the experience for all current and future Coyotes. This is a chance for all former Coyote football players to come together, celebrate our shared history, and support the athletes who wear our USD colors.
But we can’t do this without YOU! We invite each member of our Brotherhood to not only contribute but to share your personal stories and experiences that connect you to this amazing program. Let’s inspire one another and show the strength of our community.

Sideline Video Equipment | $65,000
“This equipment provides cutting edge technology and tools that allow us to view previous plays on the sideline with iPads and review plays with players during the game and at halftime. It is an amazing coaching tool."

Guardian Caps | $20,000
Get ready, Coyotes! This year, we’re rallying together for an incredible cause that embodies the spirit of our Brotherhood. We are fundraising for Football Guardian Caps, which are essential for enhancing player safety on the field.
But this isn’t just about safety—it’s about honoring our heroes! We are raising these funds in tribute to our former Coyote teammates who have bravely served or continue to serve in Law Enforcement, Military, and as First Responders. Their commitment inspires us to foster a culture of camaraderie and service within our Brotherhood. Special thanks to Darrell Vander Esch for leading this initiative for the Brotherhood. One of Darrell’s teammates Steve Kollasch #99 was a lifetime Law Enforcement Officer, we honor him and all our teammates who have passed while spending their life protecting others. Meal Program | $80,000
In 2023, Coach Nielson introduced an enhanced summer meal plan including two dinners per week for all members of the team including walk-on players. In 2025, the coaching staff hopes to expand this program to four meals per week for all members. Summer meals ensure players have access to quality nutrition and team bonding opportunities, while also reducing the cost of food for players during summer access training.

The Coyote Brotherhood was established to include all former Coyote Football players and coaches.
Our Purpose
We are focused on creating a social network to support the special bond between former players and coaches. We have spent the last seven years promoting fellowship, fun, camaraderie and the continuation of the family of Coyote Football alumni, "The Brotherhood."
