CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies, located at The Graduate Center, CUNY, was founded in 1991 and is the first university-based research center in the United States dedicated to the study of historical, cultural, and political issues of vital concern to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals and communities. Your support of CLAGS is critical to continuing this legacy.
CLAGS nurtures cutting-edge scholarship, offers fellowships, organizes events for examining issues critical to and affirming LGBTQ lives, and fosters network-building among students, academics, artists, activists, policy makers, and community members.
Although we are physically located at The Graduate Center, we are a self-sustaining center and your support is crucial to our ability to do our work.
