2019 Walk For Canisius
A Walkathon is a very popular fundraiser and is common in Jesuit high schools. Students raise money for their school by asking family members, family friends, neighbors, and others for donations of any amount. At the end of the fundraising period, a special day is set aside for students, faculty, and staff to walk throughout the local neighborhood. The Walk is meant as a fun day and symbolize our commitment to our school.
Day Of The Event
The day of the Walk is October 4th. There will be attendance in the morning, but there will be no classes. Instead, we will walk along a designated route that includes parts of Delaware Park, Elmwood Avenue, and surrounding neighborhoods.
