About the Walk

AIDS Walk Delaware is the state’s largest and oldest HIV/AIDS fundraising and awareness event and has historically attracted over 800 participants and volunteers. This year we hope to raise $100,000 in support of free, confidential HIV testing, education and prevention programs, medical case management services, HIV-specific mental health counseling, and housing and transportation services.

Who Benefits

In addition to AIDS Delaware and Delaware HIV Consortium, other HIV service organizations benefit financially from the Walk, including the Ministry of CaringBeautiful Gate Outreach CenterWilliam J. Holloway Community Program and CAMP Rehoboth.

Knowledge Neighborhood - Exhibit or Visit

The Knowledge Neighborhood, located in both Brandywine Park and Grove Park, is an open-air, informational marketplace where walkers can gain awareness about community organizations, local and national businesses. It allows walkers face-to-face interaction with exhibitors to get information about their services and to ask questions about their cause, services, or business. To register to exhibit, click HERE.

There is also a Virtual Knowledge Neighborhood, which can be viewed from the AIDS Walk Delaware website and will be hosted all year on both AIDS Delaware and the Delaware HIV Consortium’s sites.
