Remembering Caryolyn Elizabeth Walsh,’98

Carolyn Walsh, a dedicated Adjunct Lecturer in the Business Department at Queensborough Community College, passed away on April 17, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of passion for teaching and unwavering devotion to her students and colleagues.

During her time at Queensborough Community College, Carolyn poured her heart into her work, specializing in Business Organization and Finance. Her enthusiasm for teaching was infectious, and she approached each class with boundless energy and a genuine desire to help her students succeed.

       

Beyond her role in the classroom, Carolyn was known for her warm and welcoming personality. She cherished the opportunity to connect with her fellow faculty members and staff, always eager to engage in meaningful conversations and foster a sense of camaraderie within the Business Department.

   

  

Carolyn's impact extended far beyond the walls of the college. She touched the lives of countless students, leaving an indelible mark on their educational journey. Her dedication and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

     

Carolyn's memory will forever be cherished by her students, colleagues, and the entire Queensborough Community College community. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her legacy of passion for education will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to planting a tree in Carolyn’s honor at Queensborough Community College and to award scholarships for business students.
