For over 25 years, Family Promise of Gainesville has been a cornerstone in our community, dedicated to supporting families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Through our comprehensive programs and unwavering commitment, we have empowered countless families to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
Over 1,400 children in our community are currently facing homelessness and housing insecurity. These children urgently need our help, and we cannot let their cries go unheard. With the ever-rising cost of living, working families are being priced out of the housing market, leaving them with no place to turn.
We have a great opportunity to launch our Promise Center, which could help over 200 families annually end their battle with housing insecurity. However, the building is in desperate need of repairs and updating. With your help, Family Promise of Gainesville can become a beacon of hope for these families.
