2022-23 Annual Fund Campaign: Rooted in Waldorf

Your support strengthens our roots and keeps our school growing!

A fundraising campaign for Waldorf School of Lexington

At the Waldorf School of Lexington, our students develop the roots they need to meet life’s challenges with courage, curiosity, and character.  These roots are grounded in strong academics, a dynamic community, and shared values.  This education stays with students – and alumni – throughout their lives as they grow into their authentic selves.

But a Waldorf education isn’t just for students.  All of us — parents, caregivers, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends — are learning and growing, too, through community festivals, class plays and concerts, artistic endeavors, adult education programs, and so much more. Together, we are all Rooted in Waldorf! Tuition alone doesn’t cover the full cost of running the school. Gifts to the Annual Fund make up the critical difference. Our goal this year is to raise $175,000 by June 30. Please consider making a gift today. Every gift, no matter how small or how large, is sincerely appreciated. Your support will have an immediate, across-the-board impact at the school:

  • Compensation and professional development for our devoted teachers;

  • Tuition assistance based on financial need;

  • Continuing development of our curriculum and program enrichment for students, including the expansion of our student support services and staffing.

  • Campus improvements and utility costs, such as the increased heat and electricity expenses associated with our air quality measures.

Join us in strengthening and celebrating our Waldorf Roots!

“Although my children have moved on from WSL, they continue to reap the fruit of their ‘Waldorf Roots’; a strong holistic educational foundation which has allowed them to see new possibilities and potential in themselves and those around them. I am forever grateful for their time at WSL and the lifelong impact this education will continue to provide. A Waldorf education is one of the best investments I have made.”—Alum Parent
