UpDayton invites students, interns, recent graduates, all early career professionals and anyone curious about Dayton to discover amazing things to see, do and explore!

Through specially curated experiences of the region, we awaken participants to a community of amazing opportunities. We challenge you to seek out the many hidden gems of the Gem City and provide the resources to get started.

Resource Packet
We provide all participants with a welcome packet that includes UpDayton's Gem City Adventure Guide, a Summer in the City calendar, bike maps, the Find It Downtown Guide and more. It's all the information you'll need to have a great summer exploring Dayton.

Calendar of Events
Program participants will have a choice of two signature events (listed below) as well as access to our overall summer calendar of other can't-miss events and opportunities.

• DINE LIKE A DAYTONIAN Join UpDayton for a foodie tour of Dayton’s dining hot spots. Participants will visit local restaurants to try out Dayton-famous small plates and drinks, with plenty of time for mingling and exploration along the way.

• DAYTON ARTS EXPERIENCE Experience Dayton’s culture with a chance to engage in the city’s thriving art scene through a specially selected performance. Prior to the main event, participants will have the opportunity to network while enjoying drinks and appetizers at one of downtown’s dining hot spots.

• DAYTON NIGHT OUT Dayton may be a smaller sized city, but there's plenty of things to do after the sun goes down. Whether you have a thirst for happy hour, karaoke, dancing or a dive, we've got you on this eclectic experience of Dayton nightlife!

• GET OUTDOORS Explore one of the Dayton region’s greatest assets: our trails, parks and waterways. For an adventure close to the heart of downtown, UpDayton will organize a group outing where participants can experience all of the green space the region has to offer.
